Online Learning
There are a lot of ways to learn a computer topic --- buy a book(s), attend a user group or workshop, do online research or bug a friend to teach you. But for the past couple years a new way has emerged as an easy and inexpensive alternative; online learning --- training videos or online classes.
One of the best sites for training videos is Lynda.com where their training videos cover all Adobe products in varying levels (intro to advanced) as well as some Microsoft products and new titles are added on a regular basis. A great site for more technical videos is VTC.com which focuses on business applications, certifications, databases, progamming and web design. For specific videos on .NET LearnVisualStudio.Net is one of the best choices and TotalTraining.com has some very high quality videos on similiar topics (.NET, Dreamweaver, SQL, Adobe), which you can buy as a complete series or view online.
Speaking of expensive, the most expensive but probably the best and most complete video series on all Microsoft related topics and certification is AppDev.com. For SQL Server specific topics, LearnSQLServer.com and LearnTransactSQL.com are two great choices. So from all these choices I have given you should be able to find a video to help you learn any web related topic or technology.
The other format is an online class where an instructor has a "virtual class" where students post weekly assignments and exchange ideas with fellow students. A great site is LVSOnline.com which have 6 week classes on web and graphic design and basic programming.
